Yuki Savings

The Yuki Savings page gives you a clear picture of how much Yuki has reduced your Snowflake spend over time. It compares credit usage with and without Yuki’s optimization to highlight both total savings and overall efficiency improvements.

Page Overview

At the top of the page, you’ll see four key metrics:

  • Saving Overview - total savings achieved (in dollars and credits) for the selected time range.

  • Overall Saving Percentage - the percentage reduction in credits or cost achieved through Yuki optimization.

  • Credit Usage Without Yuki - how many credits would have been consumed without Yuki’s routing and warehouse sizing.

  • Credit Usage With Yuki - the actual credits used with Yuki optimization active.

You can adjust the timeframe (e.g., last 30 days) using the selector at the top right of the page.

Saving Over Time Chart

The main chart visualizes daily credit usage and credits saved by Yuki.

  • The darker bars represent credits actually used.

  • The lighter (upper) bars represent credits saved by Yuki.

  • Hover over any day to view the exact numbers of credits used and saved.

This view helps you track how Yuki’s impact evolves over time - and confirm that optimizations continue to deliver consistent savings.

Queries Reduced by Warehouse

This section shows how Yuki dynamically resized queries in each warehouse.

  • Each bar represents a day and displays how queries were automatically routed to smaller warehouse sizes without performance degradation.

  • The darker segments indicate queries that were reduced to a smaller size (e.g., from Medium to X-Small), while lighter segments represent unchanged workloads.

  • Use the search bar to locate a specific warehouse and focus on its reduction pattern.

  • Chose between Absolute Numbers and Percentage View to analyze query volume or proportional reduction impact.

How to Use This Page

  • Validate that your Yuki setup is actively generating savings.

  • Track savings trends over weeks or months to confirm improvements after configuration changes (like warehouse sizing or routing).

  • Compare this data with the Cost Overview page to see which warehouses or workloads drive the most visible impact.
